An ENGAGE Brainstorm Session!

Hello Engage readers!

I would like to challenge you at this time with a next step in our journey together to grow in our faith.
I would like us to brainstorm ways that we could, as a group, step out of our comfort zone to actually DO SOMETHING TOGETHER to express and enhance our faith experience.  It's always easier to talk about faith then to do something about it.  So let's brainstorm a little.  What could we do, together, that requires us to really TRUST God, to rely on his help, or to sacrifice a little something?  What could we do that might require us to let the Holy Spirit work?

So . . . help me think this through; I want this to be a CRAZY brainstorming session.  Think outside the box.  Big things, small things, it doesn't matter - if it will glorify God and help us grow in relationship with him and knowledge of who he is in any way, throw it out there!  If it seems impossible, put it down anyway; after all, "nothing is impossible with God," right???

Let the crazy ideas begin!

  1. ok so i love the red! but about our brainstorming...here's my idea

how about if we were homeless? it could be a fri, sat, sun thing and we could be homeless for friday, preach to other people on the streets throughout the day sat, and reflect on sunday. if we really wanted to go all out, we could like even sleep in a shelter. bc i just got to thinking how lucky are we to get most of the things we ask for, especially during christmas time. and i know in my house that we take for granted a LOT of things that other people would die to have. like blankets and heat. idk. just a thought.

  2. okai. so as Hannah was saying,, the homeless thing is a great idea, but not only just live it, why not give the other homeless people something that they could take ANYWHERE, why not donate some of our PERSONAL things/ possessions to show that we care and that we do take things for grant.. We could preach about God to the people around us. There's a lot of things we COULD do that may or may not help us in our relationship with God. idk if that really helps. i was really just helping to support an idea. nothing too big.. SORRY!
