Hello Engage readers! If you are reading this, first let me say that I am extremely proud of you for checking out this site and diligently working on living out your relationship with God!
I will be on vacation for Thanksgiving and will not have internet access for a while. Therefore, you will not see any new Engages for the next few days. Please feel free to go back and read any that you missed, and relax and enjoy the holiday with the ones you love! Don't forget to be THANKFUL to GOD this week - enjoy his gifts and his promises!
Also, I have a question. Now that we've done this for a couple weeks - what needs to change?
Do we need to make it less overwhelming? Shorter thoughts, or maybe thoughts every other day, or every week, so that you have time to work on the challenges?
WHAT DO WE NEED TO DO TO MAKE ENGAGE A BETTER TOOL FOR LIVING OUT OUR FAITH???

i'm addicted to engage :) but i think every other day would be good just to live out and think about things and also to relieve stress on you jon. but i like the questions and i like answering them. all of them haha. but i do use this on a daily basis(obviously) and it's helping me soo much!
ReplyDeletei totally agree with hannah... everyother day would be easier on everyone and give us more time to really live out the questions and focus on them... this is also helping me out a ton and i love them!!

I'm excited that we can be doing this together, and I'm proud of you for your diligence in checking this and responding. So, in response to your responses :), I will figure out a new schedule and probably go to an every other day post.
ReplyDeleteHannah - your many responses are very insightful, it would be cool to discuss them further sometime. I will have to update the pic of the day btw - so you might want to check it.
(random thing im saying) is there anyway we can create an engaged idk meeting or something were we all can get together and talk about theise things...idk maybe put it in befor youth time or after or even a different day..something like that i think it may be kool...like i sad random thought..
